John
is a life long resident of Woodstock. In 1980, after returning
from Vancouver, BC he entered into the partnership with Jim
Symons and Arnold
Wearn (1986) to form the
present practice. John works extensively with a
variety of owner-managed businesses
including professional corporations, farmers,
contractors, auto dealers and not-for-profit organizations.
John
has a
strong
interest in technology and adapting it to make the accounting
process more efficient and productive. Recently, John
co-ordinated the conversion
of our
office to a substantially paperless environment, greatly enhancing the
office efficiency.
Barb joined the firm in 2001 after living in many ports-of-call across Canada with her husband Rob. She is a graduate of the local school system and has her B.A. in Management Economics from the University of Guelph. She obtained her CA designation in 1987 while articling in Vancouver. Barb works with small business clients and, as an active member of a local farm business, she has a particular interest and understanding of our agri-business clients.
Chris joined the firm in 2005. Chris is a graduate of the local school system. After acquiring his B.A. in economics at Wilfrid Laurier University he articled with an accounting firm in Toronto. Upon receiving his CA designation, Chris commenced training to become a chartered business valuator. Chris successfully completed the training and received his CBV designation in 2005.
